With Service Pack 2 (Update to 7.0 build 38 - previous service packs are contained), the following changes become effective:
Panel Designer and new Panels:
- Improved perfomance of new Panels
- Changes of the system databases and the system variables configuration are recognized in the Panel Designer
- Signal changes which are not send up to now are marked in the panel
Test Feature Set:
- For the Demo "Central Locking System", there is now an example test module in C# available. Just add a new test module within the test setup and configure it with the delivered *.cs file.
The CANoe MATLAB interface 1.6 is included. It provides:
- Blocks for system variables
- Easier parameterization of models in HIL mode
- The possibility to analyse Simulink signals in HIL mode
- Support of MATLAB Release R2007b
LIN:
- J2602 Slave Conformance test case 5.7.2.2 is now supported
- Support of J2602 Slave Conformance test cases 7.5.1.x.x.x (8 test cases). Requires a new XL-driver with firmware version 1.97 or higher.
MOST:
- Access to the synchronous channels via USB: With VN2610 and corresponding drivers from version 6.6 on, it is possible to access all synchronous channels of the MOST ring. CANoe comes with demo configurations which allow to either stream all synchronous channels to the hard disc, respectively to stream data from the hard disc to the MOST ring. CANoe provides the infrastructure for the streaming, specific algorithms for analysis or CODECs can be implemented in a DLL. Additional information can be found in the document MOST_SyncStreaming_Documentation.pdf, located in the folder "Demo_MOST_CN/MOSTStreaming/Documentation" of the CANoe installation.
- New CAPL command MostSetCorrectStartupSBC: As Timing Master CANoe sets the Synchronous Boundary Control (SBC) according to the MOST specification to a valid value after a closed MOST ring is detected. For testing purposes, e.g. to simulate an open MOST ring for devices under test, this service can be deactivated.
- Bus statistics: The busload on the asynchronous channel is now also calculated with deactivated spy.
- Stress features: Unlock sequences can now be generated more accurately and allow a precise analysis how long an unlock has to be to trigger a reaction of a device under test.
- Connection Master: The connection master coming with the MOST system demo now has no need for a DBC database any more and uses the most recent CAPL APIs.
- Saving message definitions from within a MOST Application Filter (MAF), which allows reloading these definitions into other MAFs works correctly now.
- The XML Testpattern 'RequestResponse' now also waits for spy messages
- Vista Support: With VN2610 and corresponding drivers from version 6.6 on, the Option MOST is fully functional under Windows Vista. The driver version 6.6 is needed for access to the synchronous channels, Vista support and improved stress features.
FlexRay:
- With the FlexRay interfaces VN3x00 and VN7600 a hardware based support of simulations with PDUs is implemented. This feature requires the latest driver for the interfaces (>= 6.6.18).
- Extension of the FlexRay Interaction Layer. For the use of the Interaction Layer an OEM specific DLL is required.
- TX buffer list: FlexRay Frames with several transmitter can be configured.
- Vista Support: With VN3x00/VN7600 and corresponding drivers from version 6.6 on, the Option FlexRay is fully functional under Windows Vista.
