With Service Pack 3 (Update to 5.2 Build 70, click here to download), the following changes become effective:
Basic Features:
- The CANoe Option GPS is released. GPS data can be integrated into CANoe via a GPS device. The GPS Data can be displayed in Trace-, Graphics- und Data window and also in a map based window. The GPS Data can be logged time aligned to the normal bus traffic.
- With SP3 the CANoe - CANape integration supports also data aquisition via XCP.
- All panels are now saved correctly as old version when saving the configuration as old version.
- Signal based export from logging files with many signals is possible now.
- Incorrect reset of the trace window sorting is fixed.
Test Feature Set:
- Time-Attributes of checks within XML test modules support time-units (s, ms, us).
- Model Generation Wizard works now on pure english/japanese installations.
- Special stylesheet to generate the test report for online-analysis("ExtendedNavigation.xslt").
* works now with big time stamps
* is now compatible to older Java Runtime (minimum version 1.4.2_06) - Test reports can be generated in case of special characters within path assignments.
LIN:
- LIN2.0 Network Management Support: Activation for all slaves in a network using LINActivateGlobalNetworkManagement() or for each Slave locally using LINActivateSlaveNetworkManagement(); Automatic setting of response error for simulated Slaves on detection of a protocol error e.g. checksum error.
- TOYOTA-LIN Network Management Support
- Activation for all Slaves in a network using LINActivateGlobalNetworkManagement() or for each Slave locally using LINActivateSlaveNetworkManagement().
- Sleep Indicator Support: use LINSetToyotaSleepInd() to change a simulated Slave's Sleep Indicator; a simulated Master can use LINCheckToyotaSleepInd() to check if all Slaves are ready to Sleep (return value = 1).
- Wakeup Indicator Support: Calling LINSendWakeup will cause the Wakeup Indicator to be set to 1 for the calling Slave; Use LINSetToyotaWakeupInd() to change a simulated Slave's Wakeup Indicator; A simulated Master can Use LINCheckToyotaWakeupInd() to check if one of the Slaves set its Wakeup Indicator.
- Data Indicator Support: Data Indictator of a simulated Slave is automatically set to 0 (i.e. Slave is initialising) on measurement start and after an initialized time (per default 500 ms) to 1. The initialization time in milliseconds can be changed for each Slave using LINSetToyotaDataIndTime(initTimeInMS). Use LINSetToyotaDataIndTime() to change a simulated Slave's Data Indicator. A simulated Master can use LINCheckToyotaDataInd() to check if all Slaves are initialized.
- Test Features
- Test Service Library: The LIN Test Service Check LINSchedTableViolation() can now handle schedule tables with repetitive slot sequences. Extra error information is also displayed in the HTML report if the check violated.
- LIN2.0 Slave Conformance Test: Layer 2 Test 4.1 now detects whether a Slave correctly stopped transmitting after an inverted stop bit. NCF file name and path are displayed in HTML report.
- CAPL functions LINDeactivateResps() and LINActivateResps() now work for all LIN protocol versions.
- Trace Window now also displays "Requested SID" and "Error Code" information for negative responses.
- SP2 issue concering the calculation of physical encoded signals has been fixed.
MOST:
- Attention: CANoe/CANalyzer 5.2 SP3 requires the latest MOST driver, at least version 5.7.12.
- MOST High Protocol Combiner (CANoe/CANalyzer): The MOST High Protocol Combiner (MHP Combiner) collects all frames belonging to MHP connections to blocks and packets respectively and then generates events with the collected data. These events can be shown in the Trace window or received in CAPL programs placed in the measurement setup.
- Core Compliance Tests (CANoe only): Vector has implemented the Core Compliance Tests and is offering these to all users with a service contract for CANoe.MOST from Version 5.2 on. The tests are available in form of a DLL, which comes with a demo configuration showing how to operate these tests. Each test can easily be integrated in user con-figurations and applied to MOST devices during the development phase. Attention: Vector provides no guarantee that devices passing these tests, also pass the official Core Compliance test at any Test House (MTH) or vice versa. Please contact our support for more information.
- S/PDIF support of VN2610 (CANoe/CANalyzer): The new MOST interface VN2610 of Vector provides, amongst other improvements to VN2600, an optical S/PDIF input and output. CAPL now allows to route audio channels from or to the corresponding connectors of VN2610.
- Wake-Up Button (CANoe/CANalyzer): An ActiveX Control is provided which implements a button to trigger a Wake-Up of the MOST ring. This ActiveX with the name 'MOSTWakeupBtn.ocx ' can be found in the Exec32/ActiveX folder of the CANoe/CANalyzer installation. It can easily be used in two ways:
1. It can be placed in any CANoe/CANalyzer configuration by simply dragging it over the main window of the tool.
2. It can be used as a simple control in any user defined panel. Therefore it has to be selected from the panel editor menu 'Elements/ActiveX Controls'. - Problem fixes
- MOST IG: Several minor problems e.g. concerning message sequences and the transmission feedback were fixed. (CANoe/CANalyzer
- Application Socket: Several seldom occurring problems with the integrated NWM and PM, as well as the AMS combiner are fixed. (CANoe only)
- CANoe Realtime: XML Test modules for MOST can be used in CANoe.MOST Realtime now. (CANoe only)
- Further details, including the documentation of the new features can be found in the PDF document MOST_New_Features_5.2_SP3.doc in the Doc folder of the CANoe/CANalyzer installation.
FlexRay:
- Representation of rate and offset correction values of the FlexCard Cyclone II in the StartCycleEvent. An update of the driver and firmware is required to receive these values.
- Detailed description of an error. Instead of the flags a textual description is available.
- Offline analysis of busdoctor logging files. Through an optional extension DLL CANoe and CANalyzer are able to analyze busdoctor logging files.
- Reduced load times for FIBEX databases.
- The CAPL Callback "FlexRayRcvStatusEvent"can be used in the measurement setup too.
- The CAPL editor interprets FIBEX databases with several channels correct.
The FlexRay related channels can be used. - Symbols received from the busdoctor are displayed in the analysis windows.
- Frames with repetition factor 64 are displayed in the correct line.
- The "auto restart" function works now with the FlexCard I, too.
J1939/NMEA2000:
- Extended CAN ID support depends on J1939 option.
- Correct J1939 Dbc Converter. Crashed if a converting is started twice.
- Replay/import of old J1939 log files now supported.
- Extended Data Page column in interactive generator block now resized.
- Address Claim name comparision in J1939 CAPL examples are fixed.
J1587:
- IG sends proprietary parameters with wrong message length.
- Replay/import of a J1708 logging files now supports transport protocol.
- Enable Export functionality out of Trace/Graphics.
- Fixed issue with wrong data of a J1587 CAPL event handler in the Measurement Setup.
- J1587 CANdb++ Editor now supports Japanese language.
- Parameter Monitor view modifications.
