The DiVa Option (Diagnostic Integration and Validation Assistant)
extends CANoe to a tool for automatically generating and executing of reproducible test cases for the implementation and integration of the diagnostic protocol. The test cases are generated based on CANdela ECU diagnostic descriptions and are executed in the CANoe Test Feature Set.
In the new version 2.0, the DiVa option supports the GMW 3110 diagnostic standard. Beside the protocols ISO 15765, ISO 14229, and ISO 14230, it tests also the GM specific diagnostic protocol. Also, the determined insertion of errors on transport protocol level at tester side is now possible, e.g. to abort running transmission or to delay frames. The reaction of the ECU is checked in all cases.
