With Service Pack 3, the following changes become effective (all changes of previous Service Packs are contained):

General:

• Unknown window types of configurations from higher application versions are ignored now. The configuration is read without an error.
• Problem fixed in case of moving the global cursor in pause mode during measurement.
• Database editor can be closed even there is a invalid curve dimension.
• Problem fixed if moving an icon of the toolbar is cancelled with ESC.
• Fix permanent redraw of the measurement configuration dialog if this dialog is placed on a second monitor left of the main monitor.
• The file name of a CAN device logging file can be extended by the device name to get unique names.
• Performance of the measurement configuration dialog for very large configurations improved.
• There is a warning message if a project or a configuration from a higher application version is loaded.
• Signals from measurement files can be displayed during measurement.
• Issue with measurement configuration dialog fixed.
• Fixed issue when loading an A2L file having more than 64 memory segments.
• Problem fixed of the ELF map file reader in case of more then 16000 source files.
• Problem fixed of the ELF map file reader in case of bit field members crossing byte borders.

Function and Scripts:

• Only save a description of the referenced global variables into the configuration.

Communication Protocols:

• CAN Remote frames are logged as remote frames into the CAN device logging file.
• Improved Tracing of XCPonFlexRay messages (cycle, channel and XCP-NAX).
• Decrease Reconnect delay in Datalogger mode (when restarting measurement).
• Fixed issue when measuring multiplexed FlexRay signals.
• Fixed issue when measuring FlexRay signals having multiple conversion rules.
• Improved XCPonFlexRay dynamic bandwidth distribution.
• Support FlexRay bus logging to file (BLF).
• Support VX11xx CAN channels for CAN monitoring.
• Added XCP specific driver setting to suppress automatic reading of XCP event definitions.
• Fixed issues related to XCP static DAQ lists.
• Improved error handling when unplugging ethernet cable of active XCP connection.
• Added warning in case of duplicate or missing XCP DAQ data.
• Fixed timestamp issue when running long XCP measurements > 12 h.
• Support VN7600 interface hardware.
• Fixed data loss issue for ethernet based XCP on multicore computers.
• Fixed connect abort which occurred in case of error frames on CAN bus.
• Improved error report in case of inconsistent FlexRay database configuration.
• Generate Datalogger Configuration for XCP on FlexRay (not available for concatenation mode).
• Fixed issue which lead to mixed XCP measurement data in case of STIM or static daq lists.
• Fixed issue related to test of measurement configuration in case of XCP on FlexRay.
• Improved device creation of XCP on FlexRay devices.

MATLAB/Simulink Support:

• Tooltip support in the MATLAB Model Explorer hierarchical view and search result.
• Always all STIM events of a device are available.

Multimedia:

• DivX 6.8 support by setting a registry key during the installation to ignore the DivX setting 'use hardware overlay'.
• On adding a multimedia measurement object to the multimedia window it displays the video immediately if the option "Display values from measurement file…" is set.

Data Management:

• Correction in calculating the equal state if vlaues of the current device are involved.
• Improve load parameter set files for virtual parameters.
• Fixed issue if parameter based on datatype FLOAT is stored in PAR format.
• Expand the pathname with the correct directory if the filname is not complete during the save parameter set action.
• Correction in Checksum algorithm ADD_DWORD_DWORD.
• Display correct axis value in parameter explorer window.
• Improve detection of format errors in DCM files in case of parsing of double values.
• In CDF20 files do not write axis points of common axis / rescale axis or curve axis with their curves and maps itself.

Offline Analysis Measurement Files:

• Merging of unsorted and write protected MDF files is possible now.
• Merging of MDF files is possible too if the source MDF files have records with and without record identifiers.
• Signal value comments of a measurement file are saved if the measurement file is replaced by another file using the command "Display from measurement file".
• The automatic zooming of a graphic after inserting a file signal can be reverted with one click even multiple signals are inserted.
• Import converter for CANcase XL Log logging files optionaly generates a signal for the SyncPulse events.
• Import converter for Logging files support conversion rules from FIBEX databases.
• Import converter for Logging files reports an error if a unsupported file format is selected.
• Fixed problem of the Logging file import converter under Windows Vista.
• The size limit of the label list input field of the ASCII export converter options is removed.
• Problem fixed in case of saving measurement file signals using a measurement configuration.

Diagnostics:

• Diagnostic Console: Checkbox for automatic parameter initialization disabled in case of ODX.
• Diagnostic Console: Improvement of macro recording in case of requests with no response.
• CANape API: Possibility to iterate through complex responses.
• Fixed problems with automatic script creation (macro recording) for parameter value containing special character '%'.
