With Service Pack 4 (Update to 5.1 Build 65, click here to download), the following changes become effective:
LIN
- LIN frames defined in CAPL, which are also defined in a DBC-database are now initialised according to their initial signal values. Undefined bits of a LIN frame are set to recessive (1) (see LIN Spec 2.0, Section 2.3 Frame types). This change was already made for LDF-databases in SP2 and is conform with current LIN driver implementations (both for LIN 1.3 and LIN 2.0).
MOST
- Multibus filters: The checkbox 'unconfigured events' now decides also whether MOST packets are filtered or not. This allows a pass filter to let packets pass.
- The generation of a netstate event and the derivation of the network master address will only be triggered by a broadcast message from the networkmaster. Therefore directly addressed config status request will not lead to a call back on netstate in CAPL any more.
FlexRay
- The payload of dynamic frames can be modified during a measurement session.
- The channelfilter blocks the status event "Startcycle" of the FlexCard also.
- The ASCII and BLF logging format support send direction (TxRq, Rx) for FlexRay frames.
- Support of short FlexRay communication cycles (500 µsec).
- Hardware sync with Busdoctor supports one connected FlexRay channel.
- Logging guarantees the same order of FlexRay frames.
- The maximum Frame Id can be sent in simulation mode.
- The Simulator supports the configuration NSSR*SSLR >= LDTSR.
- FlexCard error message "There is already a frame 32767 configured for sync,...." is treated.
- Transmission of Wakeup pattern with special CAPL function "ResetFlexRayCCEx"
- Frame transmission with Cycle Multiplexing with special capl functions: "FrSetSendFrame" and "FrSendFrame"
