General Usage:
- The Symbol Explorer use a case insensitive sort order now
- The Symbol Explorer search result contains the device name now
- In case of using User Rights, users can be created without a password. Users without password are loaded without login dialog the next time. There are new command line options to specify a user and a password.
- New Panel Editor version from CANoe V6.0
- The CANalyzer Logging Import converter optionaly supports ASCII logging files with more data bytes then the DLC of the received message
Offline analysis measurement files:
- Multiple MDF measurement files with identical signal structure can be combined into one MDF file
- The CallConverter tool can be used to save a part of a MDF measurement file into a new file
Display of measurement data:
- The Trace window does select a event if the user open or close the sublines of this event using the mouse
- The priority of redraw and converter threads can be changed in the project file
Driver:
- There can be multiple CAN devices now using the J1939 transport protocol
- A warning is displayed when a measurement is started and a CANcab/CANpiggy is missing
- Possibility to configure the Segment Number (SN) of the ISO Transport Protocol used for KWP2000 on CAN
Database Editor:
- Database editor can log Write window messages into a logging file
- The ASAP2 Database Editor does not remove wrong links during saving
- The ELF Map file reader optionaly suppress a leading underscore of the exported symbols
- The ASAP2 Database Editor does show Intel or Motorola byte for variables with 8 or less bits too
Diagnostic:
- Device creation by Drag&Drop also supported for ODX
- Integration of the ASAM MCD 3D compliant diagnostic server provided by T-Systems (Caesar-Diogenes 3D Server) for execution of diagnostic function calls
- The options button is now disabled when there is no device attached to the diag console.
- Using ODX database files for a diagnostic device now also unsigned values can be used as calibration/measurement objects.
- If the addressing mode is changed from physical to functional (or the other way round), the tester present type is now adapted automatically.
- Allow to overwrite the request services for Fault Memory access even if K-Line is used for communication
- Now for request parameters that may occur several times (e.g. UDS Dynamically Define Message) it is possible to set the number of iterations in the diagnostic console window: Just set an unsigned integer value for the iteration parameter.
- For invalid parameter values now also the raw value (byte representation) is displayed along with its name in the diagnostics console window.
- Now the current cycle time is displayed as tooltip of the cyclic update button in the fault memory window.
- Removed rare diagnostic service selection problem in the diagnostic console window.
- Now the size and the position of the value edit combobox in the diagnostic console window is updated when double-clicking on the dividers of the header control.
- The height of the parameter value drop down selection list in the diagnostic console window is now dynamically changed in dependency of the combobox item count.
- Fixed problem double-clicking on a +/- icon of the service tree in the diagnostic console window.
- Now an appropriate (instead of an empty) string is displayed in the fault memory window if either there is no symbolic interpretation for an environment parameter value or if a DTC is received that isn't defined in the database.
- Now the functional request ID is displayed when opening a functional channel.
Functions and Scripts:
- If a Script directory is removed from the project in the Function Browser, the subdirectories can be removed too
- The order of the additional script directories can be changend in the Function Browser
- The current user can be changed by script in case of enabled User Rights
