With Service Pack 3, the following changes become effective, all previous service packs for version 6.1 are contained:
General Improvements:
- Scripts can be added to the toolbar now
- Change company name on the registration dialog
- Fixed issue with unsorted measurement object list after the name of a measurement function or Matlab signal has been changed
- Fixed issue for command "change dimension with interpolation" in case of a invalid map or curve

- Fixed issue with the default event of CCP and XCP signals, if signals are inserted into the measurement list
- Fixed XCP simulator crash when running for long time
- VCANTCP: Fixed data corruption problem
- Analog driver (IOcab): Prevented resetting values in calibration window upon refresh
- GPS driver: Corrected values of position/dilution, added additional satellite information
- NI-DAQ driver: Fixed problems with PCI-MIO-16XE-50
- CCP: Corrected checksum computation for multiple calram segments
- Fixed issue with CNP_CREATE_INI driver entries in an a2l-file
- A variant criterion can not be assigned to a database group that contains the associated selector
- Fixed problems in CANape after sending "short upload" to ECU that is locked (CCP)

MDF:
- Display error message during MDF signal selection because a signal comment with more then 255 characters.
- Save time range of a multmedia signal into a new MDF file does not modify the avi file link in the base multimedia signal anymore.
- Support Integer time stamps with more then 32 Bit in MDF measurement files
- Fixed issue with channel counter of MDF files if arrays are saved in one channel group or block measurement mode is used
- Fixed issue during configuration of a virtual MDF signal if a not allowed parameter is selected which is already assigned
- Fixed issue at reading or writing an Integer signal with Motorola Byte order in an MDF file and a bit offset
- Support J1939 BAM at converting BLF files into MDF files
Diagnostics:
- Fixed wrong "no interpretation possible" warnings for empty strings in the trace of the diagnostic console.
- Changed text for physical ./. functional addressing from "Addressing Scheme" to "Addressing Mode"
- If a response parameter value is invalid now additionally an according message appears (along with the raw hex value output)
- CANape could crash when a diagnostics device was changed from physical to functional addressing
- The message box of the diagnostic console that warns in case of invalid parameter values was adapted for huge parameter lists
- Fixed issue with crash after changing the communication interface of a diagnostic driver
- Fixed some wording problems in string resources of the diagnostic driver dialog
- Now it is possible to override the used fault memory requests also for the K-Line driver
- Optimized bus load in diagnostics driver during measurement
