Backup placement
Desktops, the windows they contain, and window positions may be saved by the View|Backup placements… command.

Restore placement
The saved desktop contents are loaded into the existing desktops with the help of the View|Restore placements… command.
The saved windows are restored on the various desktops at their original positions.

If you change your configuration, i.e. add new windows and/or move the windows on the desktops, it is possible that you might want to load your original desktop configuration at a later time.

The information of the Backup Placements command is assigned to a configuration. Therefore you have to save the configuration to store the placements information. After reloading the configuration the desktop information is completely available again.
