Help Center - CANoe

The CANoe Panel Editor is not the only way you can design a panel.  You can also build a panel using other programming tools such as Visual Basic and import those file into CANoe as full panels.  This allows for additional controls that do not exist within the Panel Editor.

When creating a panel in an external tool, simply save the project as a OCX file, or as a program DLL.  Then simply associate the panel using the Panel Configuration dialog in CANoe by clicking on the Configuration menu and selecting Panel Configuration.  For more information on associating panels, please refer to CANoe Level 1.
