We are very happy to have been awarded again the second time in "Germany`s Best Employers" competition. The sponsor of the study, the Great Place to Work Institute, in partnership with the financial magazine Capital and the market research company Psychonomics, conducted this survey with the employees of 198 small, mid-size and large companies.
The results of the study, conducted under the auspices of the European "Great Place to Work" initiative, were announced by Capital on February 14, 2007 in Berlin. This time, Vector took part in the competition among companies with 501-1000 employees. Eberhard Hinderer, member of the corporate board, accepted the award on behalf of Vector: "Of course we are very happy to have achieved such a good result in this competitive field. Our employees are an important factor in the exceptional success of our company."
The same model is used across Europe in conducting the "Great Place to Work" study. In the study 59 questions are posed to employees of participating companies on the topics of "Trustworthiness ", "Respect", "Fairness", "Pride" and "Team orientation". The companies' programs and concepts for personnel development are also examined as part of a corporate culture audit.
