Vector offers several possibilities to manage your flash data and flash process.
One widespread standard is the ODX standard which is supported by our tools. ODX allows you to generate a flash data container that includes references to your data, management information and flash job description. Our authoring tool CANdelaFlash provides a comfortable way to create ODX-F container.
CANape and CANdito allow you to develop flash jobs and to download the flash data via a C-like script language with full flexibility. It supports the usage of ODX-F container as well as binary files without a container.
CANditoFlash is the dedicated tool to run the scripts to flash the data out of the ODX-F container with a minimum of user interaction.
Where ODX cannot be applied, Vector offers CANflash. This is a customized program that reads in the OEM specific data file (VBF, GM-binaries, Intel-Hex or S-Records) and manages the download according to the respective specifications.
