Reliable ECU Diagnostics in the Laboratory and the Vehicle

CANdito, CANape and and CANoe are the diagnostic testers in Vector's diagnostic tool chain. They give the user symbolic access to all data and functions accessible via the diagnostic protocol.
Parameterization is performed via the CANdela database (CDD file) and also via ODX 2.0.1 files. The CDD file contains the, diagnostic data described in CANdelaStudio.

A Properties Overview

Vector diagnostic testers contain the Diagnostic Feature Set with the following functions:

  • Easy to parameterize via ODX 2.0.1 and the CANdela database (CDD)
  • Symbolically displays all diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) including environmental data and clearing of fault memory
  • Reads out and displays ECU identification
  • Selects, parameterizes and executes diagnostic services
  • Detailed and symbolic display of the executed diagnostic services and their results in a Trace Window
  • Visualizes the timing sequences of diagnostic functions and diagnostic communication between ECUs
  • Scripts for automating diagnostic sequences
