CMMI

The development of customer-specific software components at Vector is being performed according to CMMI Maturity Level 2. This was confirmed as part of a SCAMPI Class A Appraisal in March 2006.

The certification emphasizes Vector's effort to deliver high-quality products and services by applying defined processes. These products and services are development and consulting in the areas of vehicle networking and ECU-specific software, as well as standard software components for the  FlexRay communication.

CMMI Level 2 stands for the process maturity level "Managed". This means that management processes are systematically applied to planning, control andmonitoring of individual projects. Specifically there are seven process areas:

• Requirements Management
• Project Planning
• Project Monitoring and Control
• Supplier Agreement Management
• Measurement and Analysis
• Process and Product Quality Assurance
• Configuration Management

We want to meet the expectations of our customers. In order to improve the quality of our products and services further, we will continuously increase the maturity level of our processes.
