XCP Fundamentals Seminar

XCP was developed by ASAM and is based on the CCP protocol. It is independent of the Physical Layer and fulfills the requirements of modern ECU developments. This makes XCP the universal ("X") measurement and calibration protocol for the future.
Vector played a key role participating in the development of XCP. The goal of this seminar is to explain the mechanisms and models that form the foundation of XCP.

Content:

  • Introduction to fundamentals of the XCP protocol
  • Models for synchronous data transfer
  • DAQ and stimulus processes
  • Cold start measurement
  • Models for calibrating and flashing
  • Memory page swapping
  • Special aspects of the XCP Transport Layer
  • Examples of sequences
