CANape 6.5

The All-Around Tool for Measurement, Calibration and Diagnostics of ECUs

CANape offers you a multifaceted tool that is available for ECU development, calibration, and diagnostics as well as for measurement data acquisition.

Features and Advantages:

The primary application area of CANape is in optimizing parameterization (calibration) of electronic control units. Parameter values are calibrated and measurement signals are acquired simultaneously during system run-time. The physical interface between CANape and the ECU might be made via the CAN bus with CCP (CAN Calibration Protocol), for example, or via FlexRay with XCP. Additionally, with its integrated "Diagnostic Feature Set" CANape offers symbolic access to diagnostic data and services. As a result it can offer the functional features of a fully-capable diagnostic tester.
Its use of standards makes CANape an open and flexible platform for all phases of ECU development.

Application Areas:

CANape is the all-around tool for calibrating ECUs. All tasks in this area can be solved easily and reliably with CANape: Functional development of the software from a rapid prototyping solution to a production-ready ECU, test bench applications with the ASAM MCD3 interface, test drives for in-vehicle trials, data logging, ECU and vehicle diagnostics as well as verification of object detection algorithms with the Advanced Multimedia option.
