The CANaerospace protocol takes into consideration the following special requirements of aerospace travel technology: safety, certification capability, simple application, and openness with regard to user-defined message types. It has already been implemented by the following:
- Fairchild-Dornier 728JET engineering simulator
- SOFIA (Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy)
- AWRH (All-Weather Rescue Helicopter)
- AFMS (Advanced Flight Management System)
- Eurofighter and TIGER simulation cockpits
- IBIS Aerospace Ae270
- Airbus A380 test systems and door demonstrator
ARINC810/812
The organization ARINC manages many specifications. One of these is ARINC812. Based on ARINC810 as a general interface specification for Galley Inserts, ARINC812 defines the communication between those modules. One focus here is the power-management.
