Embedded Components for CAN

With increasing software complexity it is advantageous to implement standardized software components. Experience gained in development and in the use of other protocols has been thoroughly exploited in the development of the CAN drivers.

The Vector CANbedded environment consists of a number of adaptive source code components that cover the basic communication requirements in automotive applications. An additional function is the exchange of information between different control units using protocols that are based on the CAN network.

  • Standard components that are based on a generic source code can be scaled to application-specific requirements
  • Lower ROM and RAM memory demands
  • Run-time efficiency
  • Automatic generation of parameter settings and configurations
  • Simple linkage to application software
  • Compatible with the rest of the Vector product line
  • List of supported controllers

Further information is available on the CANbedded pages.
