ECU Development in AUTOSAR

Tasks performed during ECU development include implementation of AUTOSAR software components and configuration of the base software (BSW) and runtime environment (RTE). To exploit the optimization potential of the AUTOSAR base software and RTE, an ECU-specific ECU Configuration Description is created, which contains the detailed configuration and is coordinated with the System Description.

Vector supports you with the entire Range of AUTOSAR Base Software and a seamless Tool Chain:

> DaVinci Developer

This tool supports you in developing and integrating the application software of individual ECUs. It is optimally suited for graphic definition of AUTOSAR software components and for configuration and generation of the MICROSAR RTE.

> MICROSAR Configuration Suite
The MICROSAR Configuration Suite consists of a coordinated set of tools for configuring and generating the MICROSAR base software. Supplemented by DaVinci Developer, you can use the MICROSAR Configuration Suite to create a consistent and optimized ECU configuration. Openness, scalability and easy operation make these tools very practical, and they simplify the development process.

> MICROSAR Base Software
At Vector you will already find today what base software conforming to the AUTOSAR standard will accomplish in the future. From the Microcontroller Abstraction Layer to Memory Management and Communication Stacks for the CAN, LIN and FlexRay bus systems, to the operating system and runtime environment per AUTOSAR specification, at Vector you can get everything you need to develop efficient ECUs.

Vector offers you the entire framework needed to develop a software architecture per the AUTOSAR standard. Benefit from a solution from one source, and still remain open to integration of third-party components.
