CANoe has the feature of being able to change the number and types of channels associated, depending on the licensing currently installed on the CAN Hardware. To make changes to channels, go to the Configuration menu, and choose Options.
Once the Options menu is opened, click on the Channel Usage setting under Configuration Settings. Here you can change the number of each channel as well as adding new channels. Simply change the numbers via the appropriate drop down boxes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If there are active channels in CANoe that are not connected with real hardware, CANoe will generate a warning message. In some cases, this will prevent the configuration from running. It is recommended that each configuration be setup with the appropriate number of channels for the measurement.
